- June Baker raised four children on a small farm near Ellenboro, WV where she continues to stay close to nature with a small garden and long walks. She studied watercolor with nationally-known artists and her paintings have appeared in national shows. June's fascination with fabric began with traditional quilts just like her mother and grandmother produced. Her quilts depict nature embellished with a sense of playfulness and spontaneity. This exploration gives each art quilt another level of creative expression.
